Dance Until the Night Ends

The dance floor is the highlight of the night, besides the bar, so why not make it extravagant? Instead of just plopping a standard wooden dance floor in the middle of the reception venue, spice it up with some decorations, lounge seating, and other miscellaneous items!

Hang chandeliers from the ceiling.
Place the cake table in the middle of the dance floor so all the guests can see the ceremonial cake cutting.

Place lounge seating around the dance floor for those guests who would rather watch than dance.
Consider a white or black dance floor rather than the standard brown.

Here is a combination of lounge seating and a cake table.
Also, extenuate with a draped canopy and hanging lights.
This looks perfect for a rustic wedding!

Possibly add your names or monogrammed initials onto the dance floor.

Place sandals nearby for guests to use instead of going barefoot.
