Mason Jars Aren't For Just Canning

Can't have a rustic wedding without mason jars! Hobby Lobby was full of burlap ribbon and lace at the time, so why not decorate some mason jars? I bought two rolls of burlap ribbon, two rolls of wide lace, three rolls of small lace, two rolls of cream ribbon, roll of twine, orange and white acrylic paint, and a glue gun. Each table is going to have two pint sized jars and one quart sized jar. This is how I decorated the pint sized jars!

My Pinterest inspiration

All the goodies that I bought at Hobby Lobby

I used the hot glue gun to attach the burlap and lace

Then I filled some jars with about a half an inch of paint & spread it around the inside.
I turned them upside & let the excess paint drain.

Once they dried, I tied some twine around the top.

I'm going to continue decorating the pint sized jars with these 3 ideas (burlap, lace, and paint). Then, I'm going to move on to the quart sized jars. I bought modge podge to either paper mache them or roll them in glitter. Add a candle, and it'll be perfect!
