Wooden Table Numbers

When I first saw this on Pinterest, I knew I just had to add this to my craft list! The lace just adds the perfect touch to these rustic table numbers.

For this project you will need plenty of wood, wood stain, wood glue, sander or sand paper, lace, brushes, gloves, a hot glue fun, and a paint pen.

This whole project was a group effort. My fiancé, his parents, and my parents helped me make them. First, my dad cut all of the wood. The size just depends on what you would like. He cut the wood into two pieces, one for the top and a smaller piece for the bottom. All of the pieces were then passed on to my fiancé who sanded all of the corners. Then, my fiancés parents stained them and glued the pieces together. Lastly, my mom and I cut and glued on the lace with a hot glue gun, and I finished them by adding the table numbers with a paint pen. It's so much easier to use than painting them with a brush!

I'm all about the DIY decorations for a wedding, because you can get your money back by selling them to other brides to be. However, these little gems have become quite sentimental since it was a family effort!
